EDITORIAL SERVICES
As a reader, you know that a book with errors is an immediate turnoff. In fact, if the errors are significant, you may be tempted to put the book down and walk away. As an author, you do not want people to put down your book. Make sure it is professionally corrected through our Editorial Services. Get an outside perspective on your book from one of our experienced editors, who are among the best in the industry. Our editors follow the most current edition of the Chicago Manual of Style, so you know your book is in good editorial hands. No matter the level of attention your book needs to clean it up, we can provide exactly what you need.
CORE EDITORIAL SERVICES
EZPublications Core Editorial services give your book a thorough review of such basics as grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization and sentence structure. When your book is returned, you can expect a clean, professionally edited text that is ready to be read by a wide audience of readers.
EDITORIAL REVIEW
The Editorial Review is an excellent overview of your manuscript. It includes a review form detailing the book’s strengths and its areas for improvement, a sample Line Edit to show the types of errors found, and a service level recommendation, so you select the level of editing that will most benefit your manuscript.
LINE EDITING
In your own work, it is hard to catch all the lurking typos and errors, even if you read it over and over again. Our Line Editing service provides a thorough correction of your manuscript to catch anything you may have overlooked. This includes catching mistakes in spelling, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, and syntax. Recommendations on word choice and improving overall readability will also be provided. Using Microsoft Word®, your editor will track every change for you to approve or reject. This manner of editing ensures that you always have the final say in what happens to your book. CONTENT EDITING
When your manuscript requires more extensive changes than a Line Edit typically provides, Content Editing adds assistance with clarity, sentence structure, and – especially important for non-fiction books – assistance with consistency of information and ideas throughout the whole book.
CONTENT EDITING PLUS
This service is ideal for manuscripts that need more work on sentence structure and grammar than Content Editing can provide.

INDEXING
Indexing provides a quick and easy way readers can learn more about a topic in your book. Using strategic key words from your book we will create an index of your selected words during the production stage of your book design. We use a computer generated keyword index to alphabetically list the selected words and page numbers in the back of your book for easy reference.
As the author, it is your responsibility to select the key words you would like listed in your index. This is a crucial step and each word needs to be carefully considered. Stay away from the simple and commonly used words and focus more on specific words related to the topic of your book. This service allows you to choose up to 500 words for indexing.
Note: Alphabetization is the only type of organization associated with concordance-type indexing and only exact words are matched when using this approach. A professional index service is highly recommended if your work requires an industry-standard index.
